Beautiful Wedgwood blue jasperware lidded trinket box with crisp white neoclassical reliefs and a scalloped rim. The lid features a classical scene framed by an acorn-and-oak-leaf wreath, with additional relief detail around the sides. The base is impressed Wedgwood Made In England and is personally inscribed and signed by Wedgwood Master Potter Mark Mason, dated 31st Aug 1987, making this a special commemorative presentation piece.
Measurements:
Approx. 5” diameter x 1.75” tall
Condition:
Very good vintage condition with light surface handling wear consistent with age. No chips or cracks seen in the photos. Signed and dated on the base: “To Jean and Peter / Mark Mason / Wedgwood / Master Potter / 31st Aug 1987.” Please review all photos closely as they are part of the description.
