A beautiful vintage Wedgwood blue Jasperware pitcher decorated with exceptionally detailed white applied classical figures, putti, trees and foliage.
The neoclassical scene wraps around the body, while delicate floral swags encircle the upper portion. Even the handle is embellished with applied white ornamentation. The contrast of the crisp white relief against the Wedgwood blue makes this a particularly decorative example.
The underside is impressed WEDGWOOD / MADE IN ENGLAND, along with additional impressed factory/date marks.
