Description
Beautiful vintage Wedgwood blue jasperware round lidded trinket box, decorated with wonderfully detailed white applied grapevine, leaves and fruit against Wedgwood’s iconic matte blue ground.
The grapevine motif continues around the sides and forms a wreath across the lid. A raised finial with alternating blue and white detail completes the classical design.
Marked WEDGWOOD / ENGLAND on the underside.
A lovely small-scale Wedgwood piece for a vanity, dressing table or collection, and equally useful for keeping rings and other little treasures.
