Striking vintage sterling silver and black onyx cuff bracelet with a sculptural, sweeping design. The substantial silver cuff twists gracefully around the wrist, meeting at the center with a long oval black onyx cabochon in a smooth bezel setting.
The bracelet is signed with an intertwined “JH” maker’s mark and marked STERLING. Based on the markings and construction, it appears to be a Native American/Navajo-made piece; I would describe it as Navajo unless the individual JH maker can be positively identified.
The combination of the polished black stone and fluid silverwork gives this piece a wonderful mid-century/modernist Southwestern look.
