A beautiful vintage silverplate ice bucket with an elegant sculptural form and wonderful botanical detailing.
The body is formed with softly fluted, petal-like panels that create a striking flower-shaped scalloped rim when viewed from above. Two graceful applied handles curve upward from the sides and incorporate stylized leaf details, while the vessel stands on four decorative feet embellished with leaves and berry clusters.
The underside is marked with a series of maker’s symbols and “560.” The maker has not been identified, so the piece is being offered based on its decorative qualities rather than a specific attribution.
A particularly attractive piece of vintage silver barware that works beautifully for entertaining or as a decorative centerpiece.
