A beautiful vintage silverplate covered entrée dish in the classic English style, featuring an elegant shaped form with a traditional Chippendale-style beaded border.
The substantial domed cover is beautifully shaped and finished with an ornate removable handle. This clever traditional design allows the lid to be removed for cleaning and the handle detached when desired.
The generously sized lower dish has a scalloped, shaped outline with a deep well, making this an impressive piece for serving vegetables, meats, side dishes or other courses at the table.
