Description Striking vintage Mexican sterling silver necklace featuring substantial curved double-tube links joined by smaller articulated connectors. Each sculptural silver link is wrapped with contrasting gold-color wire accents, creating a beautiful mixed-metal look.
The necklace is marked 925 MEXICO TM-84. Mexico’s letter-and-number registration system replaced the earlier eagle assay system around 1979/1980, making this style of hallmark consistent with a post-1979 piece. In this system, “T” denotes Taxco, while the second letter relates to the registered silversmith’s name and the number identifies their registration sequence. I have not found sufficiently reliable documentation to attribute TM-84 to a specific maker, so it is being listed without a maker attribution. (925-1000)
