A wonderfully ornate vintage statement brooch featuring elaborate openwork metalwork with scrolling foliate details surrounding a geometric, almost shield-shaped center.
The Goldtone setting is embellished with faux pearls, brilliant emerald-green rhinestones and warm orange glass or bead accents. A green rhinestone forms the focal point at the center, while additional stones and pearls are scattered throughout the intricate openwork design.
Three articulated jeweled drops hang from the bottom, giving the brooch beautiful movement when worn. The combination of scrolling metalwork, colorful stones, faux pearls and dangling elements gives this piece a wonderfully romantic, Renaissance Revival-inspired appearance.
