Charming vintage glass confiture or jam jar with an exceptionally decorative Dutch windmill theme and its matching serving spoon.
The clear glass jar features a delicate etched grape and leaf motif, while the removable silverplate lid is richly embossed with a traditional Dutch pastoral landscape. Look closely and you’ll find windmills, figures and countryside details worked across the surface, topped by a wonderful three-dimensional windmill finial.
Even better, the original coordinating spoon is still present. Its handle is topped by another dimensional Dutch windmill, creating a beautifully matched table set. The lid has a shaped opening specifically designed to accommodate the spoon while the jar is in use.
Perfect for serving jam, marmalade, preserves, honey or condiments at breakfast, brunch or afternoon tea—and equally charming simply displayed.
