Gorgeous vintage red Lucite crescent brooch loaded with glowing ruby-red colored LUCITE cabochons and sparkling pink rhinestone accents. The stones are arranged in a dramatic dimensional cluster, with oval, pear-shaped and irregular molded Lucite cabochons overlapping one another in a richly textured Goldtone setting.
The red stones have wonderful depth and translucency, shifting from deep garnet to brilliant cherry and ruby red COLORS depending on the light. Faceted pink rhinestones scattered throughout the design provide just the right amount of contrasting sparkle.
The curved open construction creates a distinctive crescent MOON silhouette, giving this piece fabulous mid-century cocktail jewelry appeal.
