Striking vintage brass-tone oval brooch featuring an ornate antique-style design centered by a large faceted amber-brown glass stone.
The raised central setting has a bold geometric form with beaded accents, while the surrounding oval frame is richly embossed with scrolling foliate decoration. Small ornamental details at either side add to its elaborate architectural appearance.
The combination of the large warm amber glass stone, aged brass finish and geometric decoration gives this piece a wonderful Art Deco Revival / antique revival character.

Condition
Good vintage condition with age-related patina, discoloration and surface wear to the brass-tone metal. The glass stone remains beautifully reflective with rich amber and smoky brown tones depending on the light. Please review all photographs closely for condition.
Styling
This is one of those brooches that looks much more dramatic in person. The raised faceted stone catches the light beautifully, while the oversized oval shape makes it fabulous on a jacket, coat, scarf or at the neckline of a dress.
