Fabulous vintage Goldtone rhinestone brooch with a dramatic dimensional starburst or firework design. Deep ruby-red round rhinestones radiate outward from a central cluster of larger clear faceted rhinestones, creating a bold Atomic Age / Sputnik-style silhouette.
The raised construction gives the brooch wonderful depth, while the combination of dark red and brilliant clear stones makes it especially striking in the light. A glamorous piece of mid-century costume jewelry with plenty of presence despite its wearable size.
