Victorian MOP Pencil Holder Dip Pen Gold Filled Writing Set Case Decor Set AS IS‼️

A lovely Victorian writing set featuring a mother-of-pearl pencil holder and matching dip pen with gold filled mounts, presented in its original fitted case.

Sets like this were popular desk accessories in the late 19th century when personal writing instruments were both practical tools and elegant status pieces. The luminous mother-of-pearl handles paired with ornate gold filled fittings create a beautiful example of Victorian craftsmanship.

The set includes a mother-of-pearl pencil holder with decorative gold filled overlay and a coordinating dip pen fitted with a metal nib marked ZION. The pencil holder no longer retains its internal pencil mechanism and the dip pen handle appears to have been shortened during its lifetime. Both pieces remain attractive display items and the dip pen can still be used for writing.

The original fitted case lined in purple fabric accompanies the set and adds wonderful antique character.
