A fascinating Victorian bar pin featuring beautifully engraved gold filled details and a striking ruby red paste stone at the center. Approximately 2.25” long x .5” wide

Condition

Sold as found and as is. The pin assembly on the reverse has been replaced, including the round support components on which the pin rests. Because of these alterations, we cannot determine whether the brooch is entirely complete as originally manufactured. Despite these repairs, it remains structurally wearable and presents beautifully from the front. Age-appropriate wear, patina, and surface marks are present consistent with antique jewelry.
