Vintage Trifari necklace designed by Alfred Philippe, featuring articulated geometric links with small rhinestones set into star-shaped centers. Polished Goldtone surfaces create a sleek collar silhouette, with closely fitted links forming a flexible band.
The reverse is signed “TRIFARI” and stamped “DES. PAT. 143349.” The accompanying patent image documents Alfred Philippe’s necklace design, filed July 14, 1945, and granted December 25, 1945, as U.S. Design Patent D143,349.
Measurements: Approximately 14.5” long × 3/8” wide.
Condition: Preowned vintage condition with surface scratches, finish wear, and areas of discoloration to the metalwork. Some rhinestones may show darkening or cloudiness and variation in sparkle. Overall this necklace has a great vintage presence.
