A dramatic vintage Egyptian Revival brooch depicting the goddess Isis with magnificent outstretched wings and protective snakes curving around a large oval faceted purple stone. Tiny green stones are the perfect eye accent of the snakes, while finely rendered feathers and scales give the sterling silver design extraordinary dimension. The reverse is marked STERLING R.H. The stones have not been professionally tested and are unidentified.
Measurements
Approximately 3” wide by .75” high.
Condition
Good vintage condition with surface scratches, patina and age-related wear. The purple stone shows minor surface wear, and both green eye accents remain present. The pin mechanism is intact. Please examine all photographs closely for condition.
