Silverplate Pitcher Footed Ornate Presentation Engraved 1972 10” Large Ewer
Description
A beautiful vintage silverplate presentation pitcher / ewer with an elegant bulbous body, flared spout, ornate scrolling handle, decorative floral detailing and four elaborate footed supports. The substantial form and highly polished silver finish give it wonderful presence for a dining room, sideboard, entry table or holiday display.
The front bears a wonderful piece of provenance with the presentation inscription:
“Presented to Mrs. Daniel D. Ludwig on June 6, 1972 from 1st Engineer Wives of Ft. Riley, Kansas.”
The underside retains its silverplate maker’s marks.
