A substantial vintage silverplate oval serving tray with a beautifully shaped border and handsome twisted rope-edge rim. The broad raised border and generous proportions give this piece the classic presence of traditional hotel and formal entertaining silver.
This is an excellent large-format tray for serving, barware, a tea or coffee service, hors d’oeuvres, centerpiece displays, or as an elegant base for a collection of decanters and bottles.

Condition
Vintage pre-owned condition with significant surface scratching and utensil/use marks, particularly throughout the central serving area, as clearly shown in the photographs. Additional scuffs, polishing marks, small spots, patina and general surface wear are present consistent with age and use. The silverplate still presents beautifully, particularly around the decorative border and rope edge. Please review all photographs closely for condition.
Styling
