A charming vintage equestrian bar pin featuring a reverse-painted horse portrait beneath a domed glass “bubble,” in the Essex glass style. A silvertone horseshoe frames the center, with riding-bit and buckle motifs extending along either side. The miniature bridled horse portrait gives this slender brooch wonderful detail and dimension.
Finished with a hinged pin and clasp on the reverse. Metal content and maker are unconfirmed.

Preowned vintage condition with surface scratches, patina, and areas of wear to the silvertone finish, particularly around the horseshoe. The horse portrait remains visible beneath the domed glass. Please review all photos as they are an extension of the listing description.
