This is a beautiful porcelain coffee and tea service by Fürstenberg, Germany in the Dresden pattern. Known for its fine florals and gilt accents, this set reflects the classic style of Fürstenberg, one of Germany’s oldest porcelain makers, founded in 1747. The Dresden pattern, sometimes listed as “Ancestral Dresden,” remains highly collectible for its timeless design and quality craftsmanship.
Measurements:
The round tray measures 12.6 inches in diameter. The coffee pot stands 9 inches tall with lid, and the teapot measures 6 inches tall with lid. The covered sugar bowl is 3 inches high, and the creamer measures 3.5 inches high.
Details:
Each piece is decorated with multicolor floral sprays in the Dresden style and finished with delicate gold accents along the rims, handles, and finials. The white porcelain ground is smooth and luminous, providing a perfect canvas for the floral designs.
Condition:
Excellent vintage condition with vibrant colors and intact gold accents. Only minimal signs of age are present, consistent with careful use and display.
