An elegant Edwardian sterling silver salt cellar set comprising a pair of Birmingham 1903 hallmarked sterling silver salt cellars with matching Birmingham 1902 sterling silver salt spoons. Each cellar features a beautiful fluted form raised on ball feet with a rich gold wash interior, traditionally used to protect silver from salt corrosion.

Presented in the original fitted case with striking cobalt-blue satin and velvet lining, this set remains a wonderful example of early 20th-century English table silver. The silver displays beautifully with light age-appropriate wear consistent with careful use over more than a century. The gold wash interiors remain bright and attractive. The original case shows expected wear from age and storage while continuing to present the set beautifully.
