A substantial pair of antique silverplate candlesticks in the Old Sheffield style, standing 11.5 inches tall with decorative grapevine and heraldic plume-style detailing.
The repoussé grape clusters at the base and the three-feather heraldic motif at the stem reflect the late Victorian fascination with British country house design. These have presence — elegant height, wide 5.25” bases, and removable bobèches.
This is not high-polish showroom silver. This is authentic antique plate with age.
