Lovely antique intaglio cameo brooch featuring a classical lady in profile beside blooming roses, molded in rich translucent brown resin with a darker raised design. The oval cabochon is bezel-set in a simple gold-filled frame with small side loops, so it may originally have been part of a bracelet or necklace before being worn as a brooch.
Approx. 1.5” long by 1” tall. The back has a later replacement pin stem and C-style catch in white metal; works and wearable but not original to the piece. Light surface wear and small age-appropriate marks under magnification, consistent with age and use, no major chips or losses.
A romantic vintage resin cameo with beautiful color and detail—perfect on a jacket lapel, lace blouse, or pinned to an antique velvet ribbon.
