A striking pair of antique cut steel shoe buckles in the Georgian style, designed to capture light with that unmistakable soft metallic shimmer. Each buckle is set with dozens of faceted steel studs, creating beautiful texture and depth reminiscent of fine jewelry from the late 18th and early 19th centuries.
Cut steel pieces were originally created as a refined alternative to diamonds, meant to sparkle in candlelight—an effect these still achieve so beautifully today.
Their timeless rectangular form and intricate surface detailing give them that collected, old-world presence collectors are drawn to.

Condition
Good antique condition with age-appropriate wear. Patina and minor surface wear consistent with age, enhancing their authentic character. All studs appear to be present with lovely overall sparkle with some age appropriate dulling.
