Vintage Miriam Haskell Brooch featuring an elaborate floral wreath design with large clear marquise-cut rhinestones, smaller rhinestones, clusters of tiny faux seed pearls and beautifully molded metal roses and leaves.
The reverse is clearly signed MIRIAM HASKELL on an applied oval plaque. This is a wonderfully ornate Haskell piece with tremendous presence, even in its timeworn condition.
The brooch is being sold in FAIR VINTAGE CONDITION. There is extensive verdigris/corrosion, particularly throughout the wired seed-pearl and rhinestone clusters, along with discoloration, surface wear and age-related deterioration. Some of the tiny beads and/or stones may be missing. The large rhinestones also show age-related cloudiness and discoloration. Please examine all photographs carefully; the condition is reflected in the price.
Despite the condition, it remains an absolutely gorgeous and highly decorative example of Miriam Haskell jewelry—wonderful for a collector who appreciates pieces with authentic age and character.
