Vintage NAPIER “Bucket Full” Barware Jigger 1 To 4oz Silverplate
Vintage NAPIER “Bucket Full” Barware Jigger 1 To 4oz Silverplate
Vintage NAPIER "Bucket Full" Barware Jigger is a 1 to 4oz silverplate collectible for the kitchen and home barware.
This fun figural "Bucket Full" jigger by Napier. Looks like a miniature "bucket", with handle and is inscribed"Bucket Full"on the front and the ounce capacity lines on the back (1 oz, 2 0z, 3 OZ, 4 0z). This fun jigger is in an Art Deco design with two thick lines, one at the top, one at the bottom. When you look closely you can also see features of a tiny pour spout.
The Napier Company began making barware in the 1920s after World War I and World War II, when the company stopped making jewelry to focus on war-related items:
Origins
The Napier Company was founded in 1875 as a jewelry manufacturer. The company's predecessor was the E. A. Bliss Co. Barware design.
The Napier Company's barware was inspired by European and Parisian designs that James Napier discovered at the 1925 World's Fair in Paris.
Barware products
The Napier Company made a variety of barware items, including sterling silver flasks, a cocktail shaker in the shape of a penguin, and an all-in-one bar tool with a jigger, spoon, and bottle opener.
It is a highly collectible vintage maker that has of course some of the most classic pieces.
Condition
In beautiful antique age typical condition with mild signs of age appropriate use. Shows some mild age typical wear. Has been restored but would benefit from just a bit more polishing around the handles.
