Vintage French pewter champagne or wine cooler by Les Étains de Paris. This elegant piece stands 8.25 inches high by 8 inches across, with a classic cylindrical body, incised lines, and bold applied ring handles inspired by Louis XVI design. Stamped on the underside Les Étains de Paris, Étain, Made in France.

The pewter shows a soft natural patina and light wear from use, which only enhances its authentic French character. Substantial in weight and size, this is a functional wine or champagne cooler as well as a refined piece of French barware.
