A striking 1930s–early 1940s pot metal basket-of-flowers brooch, paved with vivid, piercing sapphire-blue glass rhinestones. The stones are set into molded cups/bezels (no prongs) across finely cast openwork with etched basket details—an iconic Deco/early-retro look with wonderful sparkle and dimension.

Era: c. 1930s–40s

Materials: Pot metal (silver-tone); blue paste/rhinestones glued/set into molded cups

Design: Oversized basket of flowers with ribbon/strap detail and openwork filigree

Back: Hinged pin with secure locking clasp

Size: approx. 2.28” x 2”

Palette: Silver-tone with vivid sapphire blue

Condition

Good vintage condition. Stones are bright and well-matched with age-appropriate patina to the metal; no missing stones noted. Clasp works properly. Please review photos—they are part of the description.
