Description:
This beautiful antique set dates to the mid-late Victorian era, c.1860–1880. It includes a brooch and matching earrings, each featuring natural Mediterranean coral branches secured within engraved gold-filled frames.
Details:
• Era: Victorian, c.1860–1880
• Metal: Appears gold filled (unmarked, as typical for the period)
• Gemstone: Natural coral branches, rich orangey-red hue
• Brooch: Measures approximately 1.75” long, later safety clasp replacement for secure wear. Please see photos for all other measurements.
• Earrings: Originally screwbacks or drops, converted to post earrings for modern use
• Condition: Very good antique condition with minor wear typical of age. Earrings have been professionally converted; brooch has a replaced clasp for safety.
