This is a pair of silverplate serving spoons in the Apostle pattern. They come in their original fitted velvet box, and the box the spoons are monogrammed "M" on the ball part.

Apostle spoons are spoons, often made of silver, with a small figure of an apostle or saint at the end of the handle, and were popular as christening gifts, particularly in the 16th and 17th centuries

Condition

Is in good antique age appropriate condition. May show some age appropriate wear. Box shows age on the outside the inside is in wonderful condition.
