A beautifully carved vintage shell cameo depicting the biblical scene Rebecca at the well. The carving features soft peach and ivory tones with a pastoral background of cottage and trees. Drapery and architectural details are gently defined, giving the scene dimension and romantic character.
Designed as both brooch and pendant. Twisted rope border frame. Reverse stamped 925 indicating sterling silver base finished in gold vermeil.
Measures approximately 1.7” by 1.25”.
Condition is very good vintage condition. Minor natural inclusions within shell consistent with material. Pin functions properly. Gold vermeil shows light age-appropriate wear. No structural issues observed.
