A rare & exceptionally beautiful pair of hand painted porcelain espresso cups & saucers made by the Imperial Porcelain Factory of St Petersburg formerly Lomonosov. Each cup & saucer is hand decorated with a vivid red blue & yellow floral motif with delicate raised gilt detailing showcasing the precision & artistry for which this historic factory is known


The pattern is among the rarest hand decorated designs produced by the Imperial Porcelain Factory & displays vibrant colors & exceptional craftsmanship. The gilt accents highlight the refined floral composition making this pair a true collector showcase piece

Cup 3 inch high by 2.75 inch diameter

Saucer 4.75 inch diameter


Each bears the authentic blue underglaze mark 1744 St Petersburg & artist signature confirming it was hand decorated at the historic Imperial Porcelain Factory founded under Empress Elizabeth I


Condition excellent vintage condition with no chips cracks or repairs. Gilding bright & intact


Collectors note this particular pattern is exceptionally scarce. Comparable Lomonosov espresso designs often sell for 250 to 350 per pair & this vibrant example with its rich hand gilded florals is among the rarest & most desirable.
