A charming pair of antique figural mantle lusters, each standing an impressive 15.5 inches tall. These ornate pieces feature a finely detailed cast bronze or spelter figure of a Renaissance-style couple, beautifully posed in flowing attire. The bases are crafted from solid marble, each measuring 4.75” x 3.5” x .75”, lending stability and elegance.
The openwork candle holder is adorned with two rows of cut-glass crystal prisms, each prism etched with starburst designs that catch and reflect the light. These prisms were originally intended to magnify candlelight, creating a sparkling effect across the mantelpiece or table.
Condition: Good antique condition with age-appropriate wear. Some prisms show small variations and replacements over time, expected with antique lusters. No major chips or cracks noted to the glass or marble bases. Please see photos for details. Figural part has been cleaned and gold wax re-applied.
