Elegant pair of antique Poole quadruple silverplate candelabra, each featuring three graceful arms, a hexagonal beaded base, and timeless neoclassical styling.
Each measures approximately 16” wide x 10.25” high, with 5” bases.
The bases display a beautifully engraved monogram that can be read as either “W” or “M,” depending on orientation — a charming personal detail from a bygone era.
About Quadruple Plate:
Poole’s quadruple silverplate pieces were produced during the Victorian and Edwardian eras, when the term denoted the highest quality silver plating — four times the standard amount of silver used. These early Poole examples are now sought after for their exceptional craftsmanship and enduring luster.
Condition:
Good antique condition with gentle age-appropriate surface wear and a soft, even patina. No major dents or repairs noted.
