This antique Elgin pocket watch from 1903 is a stunning piece that comes with its original wooden case. The watch has a beautiful white dial with Arabic numerals and a 12-hour dial. The watch features a mechanical (manual) movement with 7 jewels and a seconds hand. The gold-filled case is in great condition and has a yellow gold color.
The watch is a a mid size pocket watch suitable for anyone and has somewhat of has a dress/formal style. The model number is Philadelphia warranted case co 4011450, Elgin National Watch Co 9870464 dated 1903, and it was manufactured in the United States. It is a great addition to any watch collection.
I am not a watch expert just an antique lover, however, I took her to a watch maker who confirmed that this is indeed a 7 jewel watch suitable for women and men at the time of manufacture. This watch comes in the original wooden case. The inside dedication reads as follows:

The watch is in running condition, however, accuracy is unlikely as with all watches of this nature and age. It has a wind up mechanism and is set also the same way. I have confirmed myself and with the watchmaker that it is in working condition.
