Beautiful antique French-style porcelain portrait brooch, circa 1900–1910. The oval plaque depicts an elegant 18th-century courting couple, transfer-decorated with delicate hand-painted accents to highlight details and add depth. The portrait is set in a gilt brass bezel with braided border and antique c-clasp backing typical of the early 20th century.
Size: approx. 2.16” x 1.77” (55 mm x 45 mm).
Date: circa 1900–1910.
Condition: Very good antique condition with light age wear to the metal frame. Colors remain vibrant, with charming hand-painted highlights enhancing the transfer scene.
