A striking mid-century Wedgwood Jasperware dish in a rich olive green, produced in 1955 and featuring a beautifully sculpted classical mythological scene in crisp white relief. The figural group — Pegasus and classical figures — is one of Wedgwood’s most admired jasper reliefs, inspired by ancient Greco-Roman sculpture.
This shallow round dish is the perfect size for rings, cufflinks, desk treasures, or to sit layered into a china cabinet or library shelf. The scalloped edge gives it that refined, tailored English look that collectors love.
This piece is fully marked “Wedgwood England 1955” on the base.

Condition
Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The jasper surface is clean and evenly colored, and the relief sculpture is crisp and beautifully preserved.
Styling
Perfect on a gentleman’s valet tray, library desk, or layered among silver, leather-bound books, and old world porcelain. Also lovely as a jewelry dish or heirloom accent on a vanity.
This one is absolutely an “old money desk” piece — not a common Jasperware saucer.
